We believe that “If you can’t measure it, you can’t manage it.” We track and measure every financial aspect of your practice that might have an impact on your collections and look for trends that we can improve. Some of the metrics we track are:

  • Cash Flow – current and projected
  • Average days to reimbursement
  • Reimbursement rate by carrier
  • Missing demographics by day, week or month
  • Payments by carrier
  • Patients by carrier
  • Patients by day
  • Charges per day
  • Collections per day
  • CPT code utilization
  • Adjustment/write-off percentages

By measuring and reporting on these metrics (and more), we can determine what’s working for your practice and what needs to be improved. For example, we can compare patient load to other similar practices to determine whether adding a new insurance carrier to the mix might help. Or, if patient load is strong, we can evaluate the reimbursement rate by carrier to see if dropping a carrier could improve the overall returns. Either way, we’ll provide you with the information and insight necessary to improve your practice.
